What is a lotion Bar?

A lotion bar is basically a solid lotion (or butter). It might look like bar of soap, but it contains no soap. Our double butter lotion bars are vegan, they are made from only plant based butters and soy wax. The bar stays solid at room temperature and melts with body temperature. Not only do they offer an extremely indulgent and nourishing skin treatment, they are also plastic free!

How to Use our Double Butter Lotion Bars: (Relax, sit down, take your time and enjoy....)

Use as an intense, over night skin treatment. Ideal to apply immediately after bath/shower to warm skin. One bar is sufficient for one full body treatment. Remove one bar from the jar. Hold the bar in closed hands for about a minute. As the bar starts to warm and melt gently rub your hands together and apply the butter to your body in a circular motion. Apply to the whole body. Particularly excellent for heels, elbows and knees. Use the last of your butter on your hands and cuticles.

The Soy Wax serves to keep the bar solid at room temperature but also to lock moisture into the skin. You will feel the effect of this treatment days after using it. You need only use your bars once or twice a week!
